What to expect after

Healing, step by step.

Skin Classic works at the surface, so a short, predictable healing window is normal. Here's what to expect — and how to care for the area while it settles.

Right after
A little red

The treated area will appear erythemic — red with mild inflammation. This usually subsides within a few hours. Fairer skin (a lower Fitzpatrick type) may take a little longer for the redness to fade.

Days 7–10
Crust & shed

A light crust forms over the spot — similar to a healed picked pimple — and naturally sheds in about 7 to 10 days. Some light redness may remain afterward as the skin continues to heal.

Your aftercare
Cleanse & protect

Use a gentle cleanser and a moisturizing sunblock over the treated area while it heals. Sun protection is especially important to keep the new skin even and bright.
